March is that time of year where challenges seem to surround us. Challenges are great motivators and most of the time can be used for a better life change. Do you need to be challenged for a healthier smile? Carolina Dentistry @ The StateLine wants you to take a challenge for a healthier smile.
Some Daily Challenges:
Brush 1x more time throughout the day If you already brush your teeth for the recommended 2x’s daily regimen how about adding an extra tooth brushing in your schedule? If you are only brushing 1x a day incorporate the recommended second brushing into your schedule. Brushing at least 2x’s a day is a powerful tool for a healthy smile.
Use your floss Floss is an amazing tool to fight against dental decay, especially decay lurking in-between the teeth. However, it is usually left to gather dust on your bathroom counter. If you aren’t flossing daily give it a try. Remember, healthy gums don’t bleed. If you experience bleeding while flossing stick with flossing daily for 2 weeks you should see an improvement. If your gums still continue to bleed you may have gingivitis or other dental conditions. Make sure to let your hygienist know.
Missed your last dental check-up? Don’t wait any longer for a dental examination. Your dental health plays a major role in your overall health. Schedule a dental check-up as soon as possible. We look forward to providing dental care to you, your family and friends. Carolina Dentistry @ The StateLine encourages each of our patients to take a challenge towards a healthier smile.
